At this point, we’re more than halfway through the year, and I’m feeling the need to get myself organized so… Read more August Goals
Following on from my previous post, I’ve spent some time since considering ways I can get some writing confidence back again. Then, during one of my frequent scrolls through my Twitter feed, I got reminded that July is the 2nd Camp NaNoWriMo this year.
January’s games were #AuthorConfession, #TweepWriter, #WIPjoy & #WIPTruthorDare.
I think I want to keep my goals for January simple & straight-forward; my way of easing myself into the new year. A lot of this month will be focused on planning and preparing for the rest of the year but I do still intend to get some writing done.
Without dwelling on the failures of 2017, I’m trying to make my 2018 goals reflective of what I learned from last year, not just what I ideally want to accomplish.
December’s games were #AuthorConfession, #DecWIP, #Espressoyourself, #JLbooklove, #TweepWriter and #WIPTruthorDare.
A lot of things that I wanted to get done this past year didn’t work out. I could go on about what I think my failings were, but I won’t. Not that I don’t think there’s value in acknowledging my mistakes, quite the opposite, but dwelling on them doesn’t do me too much good either. I’d rather close out the year and move into the new one on a more positive note.
So, just in case you don’t follow me on either Facebook or Twitter, the past few weeks haven’t gone great for me.
I cut back on the hashtag games for November, ostensibly so I could focus on NaNoWriMo. I did do two, both of which I’d done in previous months, #AuthorConfession and #WIPTruthorDare.
As I said in a couple of recent posts, I’ve been thinking about what to do for this year’s NaNoWriMo project and how best to tackle it. Well, I’ve made some decisions, now I just need to implement them.
